You'll do a great job Bobbin - just wish we could both be there to enjoy it with you.

On the plus side your first playa toilet experience will be undisturbed!

How will you survive no espresso martinis?!

Most people introduce themselves by their screen names (first), and sometimes there are nametags . . . although sometimes the nametags just say "Fucko" or "The Grand High Poobah of Fuck You" and you just sort of have to figure it out.

I recommend elbowing the person next to you and asking where so-&-so is; a lot of us have met each other before and don't mind helping out.

Hey there is apparently not going to be a separate CORE Burn this year, so, should we switch back to Thursday night or would that be too confusing? :?

Random question, how common is it for people to use their playa name as their forum name? Wondering if I'd potentially be juggling three separate names at the M&G.
My birth name is Brian Miller. My eplaya name is "Lonesomebri", as in Bri-an. Everyone at the M&G pronounce that like the Cheese; "Lonesome Bree". My name tag there said "Fuck Off", so who cared what anyone called me? I wear a work shirt with "Tim" on the it while setting up camp on the playa so that first day I'm often called Tim. My bike is named "Bubba" and has an identifying license, but sometimes riders refer to me with that. The topless German mirage I spent time with last year, Ms. Simpson, called me "Mr. Miller". The people around my camp, Camp Threat, called me "Threat", that I really liked. And I know I've been called a few other things......

Oh yeah, my poor lost puppy, that's "Snowball".
I had a recent accident while riding my bicycle, was thinking of updating my avatar to show the real me. In the milliseconds before the crash I had a chance to crash down into the pavement on my bike, or shield it from damage using my face. Fast thinking prevailed.
Let me tell you, I get a lot of compliments on that bike.

I did NOT call you Lonesome Bree. I called you Lonesome Bri, 'cause I figured you were a Brian (rather than an abbreviated cheese or a Desperate Housewife).

You even remarked upon me getting it right.

Triple creme brie is a godly thing; maybe it's time for his meaning to evolve anyway.

Lonesome Brie Camp.

If you have a problem . . . if no one else can help . . . and if you can find it . . . it's wine and brie and GOOD crackers . . . yeah, not those thin, flavorless communion wafer crackers that everyone buys in the spirit of optimism because they look expensive and above reproach but are really just coffin nails, COFFIN NAILS, in your cosmic journey.

From what I understand all the CORE projects will be under/in the Man Pavilion Souk - thus will be burned the night the man burns.
