It resembles El Pulpo Mechanico. Maybe I ought to send the picture to Duane, and suggest he turn it into a camel this year?Elorrum wrote:

It is El Pulpo Mechanico... or a skewed sillouette of it, from a photo. A quick thing, in any case, from a not nearly side view picture of it. I could do better.Elliot wrote:It resembles El Pulpo Mechanico. Maybe I ought to send the picture to Duane, and suggest he turn it into a camel this year?

I knew what it was and was charmed. Do it better if you want, but rest assured at least one person saw your vision from this.Elorrum wrote:It is El Pulpo Mechanico... or a skewed sillouette of it, from a photo. Re: CARAVANSARY
Good job.
I mean, I like your photoshopped stuff, it's fun. But that is a whole 'nother level. And even that you took other images, well, you still had to compose the final image. That takes an eye.

Douglas Fairbanks, Senior. Never seen it.
I did see "Son of the Sheik" with Rudolf Valentino in it. Cheesey movie--but he really did have some presence.

"Circuit Chautauqua is among the most significant and most often overlooked influences in early twentieth-century United States history. In the years before radio and television, hundreds of millions of people in thousands of rural communities learned about the great issues of their age and enjoyed entertainment from around the world without traveling further than their own towns' Main Street." - from Library of Congress archives
