MyDearFriend, if there's any extra snow after you send some to those mountains, we could use some here in AZ, too...

I love these gorgeous, sunny days, but it's getting awfully dry and there's no change in sight yet.

whatever it takes FJ!
yeah MDF, we could use it!!
instead of 6' of snow on the way in to the Hof, it was literally tshirt weather! Some ice on the road in the shady spots, but, that's it.

There's still a bit of snow here and there in the shady spots above Jerome, but in the valley, just a couple of miles away, it's doors and windows open all afternoon, and t-shirts are plenty adequate. Cools off pretty fast, once the sun goes down.

Or at least install some sort of safety catch, so you can drive to the hospital and get things attached.

Spending a snowy day at home. Doing well most days, chemotherapy starts tomorrow. Docs decided not to cut me open which I can't say I'm sad about.

You can have all of ours. Went through 4 flight changes, but managed to take off in the blizzard. Now for a lovely 3 hour layover in Chicago.

Indeed Bin, indeed. all my best. *clink*........All my Pagan best to you!
They don't make'em any better that you, Bin, I hope you drop in a little more often.

so, does anyone know if I can upload an MP3 here?
I got the coolest song, from a friend, who's friend is 92, and she wrote a song about Burning Man........she wants to go, has for years, but just too frail, and no one to go with. She is a water color artist, wears red and purple, laughs, and still flirts!! Spicy and spunky, really a person to admire.
She's a peach!
I'd love folks to hear this. She paid a guy to put it to music and sing. But, she said if anyone could put it to another style (it's pretty country/western now) she'd be thrilled.

We're hoping she's strong enough to make the Equinox here, where I'm going to try to get one of the DJ's to play it for her. She so wants to experience at least some of TTITD, and, well, is on a short time frame...so we are trying hard to get her at least to the Equinox, and if, somehow, that song started playing.....I'm sure she'd be so happy, and thrilled.

The only thing I know, (there are probably lots of options I don't know) is make a you tube video with it. Cumbersome.

Yggy,my thought was youtube as well. Then I thought we need to gift something to this lovely woman who is offering something to the community she hasn't been able to experience. I wish I had brought some out west with me, but I'm thinking a few piece of collected swag and a note from some of us might be nice.

If Ygmir was willing to collect and deliver,I was thinking of writing a letter to her, include one of my claw necklaces I'm making this year, some pictures, and some other swag I've collected. Kind of like a pen pal. My grandmother always appreciated a letter from anyone.

*wanders in, makes CCC*

HI gang!
so, I can attach it to FB as a file in a message. I don't know how to make youtube, but will see if I can figure it out. Unless anyone here knows and would be willing to help.
It so interesting to hear her, she's a vibrant gal, locked in a failing body. She knows it, doesn't complain, and pushes the "fun envelope" as far as she can.
She tells great stories, paints in water color, and gets all "twitterpated" when a good looking man goes by, or, stops to talk. HA! such the flirt!!

I'll see if I can get her address, if anyone did want to drop a note.

In 2012, I transported luggage to and from BRC for a lady who was surely well into her 80s. (She went on the Green Tortoise package tour, where luggage is limited.) She was frail in body, but never stopped grinning. Very cool.
