Greetings from Transylvania, first timer

Hi everyone,

It's been a while since I've been playing with the idea of seeing Black Rock City through the eyes of a burner. It looks like the planets are aligning and this year might just be that year. I've been trying to recruit some people to come with me but so far no takers, so it looks like I'll have to make the journey solo.

I'll be flying out to San Francisco, and stock up on supplies while I'm there.

So here I am, humbly introducing myself, hoping some of you more experienced international attendees will give me some advice about my trip.

Would joining a camp be a good idea? If anyone else needs a travel buddy, I'm open to it.

They probably all laugh up their sleeves at us anglos or yankees or whatever they call us. Clueless might be right.
