I'll take a shot, 9ah, though I'm sure it won't be my last before March 17th. And yes, Marty 8) I am still here in the NEB; I did some half-hearted pushups etc so now I am avoiding TurboTax.

I'm planning on hitting my local Irish bar for the big game. Less than a mile drive, but an annoying walk. I'm considering taking my bike so I can drink comfortably. It's not lit though, so I'm thinking about taking my battery string lights from BM and lighting it up like a christmas tree.

Now that I think about it,i have the warm coat with El wire that I never wore last year. Wonder if that still works.

Okay this might be a plan. Time to go check the tires.

VC.... Just remember that you can get a ticket for drunk cycling. Be safe, especually since it'll start to snow/rain tonight in our parts!

Good afternoon, all.

Woke up this a.m. to a light dusting of snow outside Rhinobase. I'm not even going outside, because underneath is still the quarter-inch of ice left over from Friday night/Saturday a.m. Driving is extremely treacherous, due to the hidden ice under the snow, as evidenced by the near-continual cacophonic symphony of sirens all over town. Listening to the news, the injury rate for those accidents is over 20%.

I can't guarantee the driving habits of others, so I'm staying in. Worse comes to worse, I have evaporated milk.
Not a problem, since it's Eagle Brand. I won't have to add any sugar to the Cheerios.

One good piece of luck - I didn't spend one red cent the last two days. That's money to be saved for the Burningman trip. AND, A week ago, we had a new organic grocery store open up downtown. They sell KONA COFFEE :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: Guess what I'm drinking this afternoon???

See this is what I get for not watching local news. Ugh. Cold rain. The funny thing is I literally drive/walk/bike right past the police station. Anywho, it's straight and flat the whole way. Worst case scenario is I walk a whole .6 miles home. And I really don't get flat on my ass drunk as long I I just drink beer.

The only hitch in my plan is that I can't find my bike lock. I have a padlock though, so assuming I can find some chain, I might be in business.

.
*storms into Bar, all exited*

Folks, I am most gloriously happy with myself! You may recall I was gifted a large camping trailer last year. It took me six months to decide what to do with it. I considered making the most visible repairs and using it myself. But a few days ago I finally made up my mind and sold it instead, "as is".
Now... I just received word that the waste water tank FELL OUT FROM UNDER THE TRAILER ON THE ROAD!

Talk about me making a wise choice. That thing was given away for a reason!

$900 profit, no headaches. I rock.

Dang, those commercial RVs are junk right from the factory.

Murphy bed my ass! I knew you had those straps on your bed for nefarious reasons.

No cuffs, but I had an old disintegrating purse with a heavy brass chain that I hated. Took the chain off. Wouldn't deter a dedicated thief, but in my neighborhood, right in front of the front door of the bar, I should be okay.

Drunk and too much alcohol aren't always synonymous. Beer ftw!

Yeah our weather is up in the air, but temps and conditions are going to shift quickly! At least through Wednesday.

22 to nothing at halftime, the Seattle Seahawks!! Who woulda' thought!
It's only stats, but no team has ever come back from more than ten points behind at the SuperBowl. It's a cautiously optimistic and happy time up here right now.

But in more important news, so far the commercials suck… oh wait, Seinfeld just saved the day! Hilarious!
Oh my god!!! The Pepsi commercial is LEGENDARY!!!
OK the commercials are really living uo to the hype!

The Capt. braces for the shit he's going to get for talking sports in the bar… which makes no fucking sense but whatever.

The car commercial with the muppets band felt very burny to me. Can't really hear them well in the bar though.

And now Seahawks are playing a prevent defense. I understand it, but with Peyton it's still a bit dangerous.

ETA. 36-8. I know I know. I still hate that defense.

I feel Richard Sherman's pain. I twisted my left ankle at work last Monday and was thrust into light duty last week and probably this week.

Oh yeah, that's right, there was some sportsball thing going down. Go team!

We've been goofing around the loft, tinkering with designs and projects and things. We picked up some really good pork at the Farmer's Market yesterday and Pandorra whammed it into a crock pot with stuff this morning, it's just starting to get into the home stretch (ie last couple hours) before it's carnitas, and MAN this place is really smelling great.

Let's hope the good people of Seattle don't riot and destroy the place.
Congrats to the Seahawks and the Capn.
