Hi Eplayans!

I'm Meg. I've been browsing the forums for awhile now but have never posted.

I'm from NYC and have been getting very involved with the local theme camp/community events over the past year or fundraisers/parties/parades etc.

I've met so many awesome people in this community that I'm always amazed every time I attend an event that this type of community exists. This local community :D :mrgreen: :) has helped me to express my inner creativity and let it shine!

I'm very excited as 2014 will be my first trip to BRC. Look forward to meeting more awesome people from around the globe

Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

Hi Meg! I followed your post from your faux fur LED scarf, it's totally awesome! I live in NYC too, and this will be my first burn as well. Sounds like you're much more involved in the community here, though, which is so great. Do you hear about the events on the email list?
