Took the El wire off my red coat and brought it and my new playa coat to the dry cleaners.
Upon seeing the red coat, the proprietor exclaimed "How old is this?!" As though horrified I would spend money to clean it. I told him it was a costume and mostly dust. It's only two years old.
Also gave him the used coat I got on ebay. This time though he was impressed with the quality.

Picked up some bins for shipping my stuff cross-country, booked plane tickets (used frequent flier miles, so why not book early and cross it off the list) and found what will hopefully be a good start for a utility belt.

Just bought my tent! Now, for all the rest of the things that will allow me to survive my first ever Burning Man experience. Geeked.

Received inverter by FedEx., 2,000 watts continuous, 4,000 watts surge. Got a 4 panel Solar array several years ago, 15 watt panels for 60 watts to charge my battery bank. 12 volt controller to bank. Inverter from bank will now be putting out 115 volts, output not on sine wave but stepped; so I'll have to be careful with sensitive electronics but output will be fine with simple household appliances.
On looking at ticket page again, I have decided to go low income application ... again. ( Ticket, shipping, and service fees, and vehicle fee ).
I have found homes for 3 of the 7 puppies so far. My caregiver will babysit my pouch this year during Burning-man. Neighbor got back her mama dog yesterday. ( Sissy decided to have her puppies on my couch on New Years Day.) She had a chain mark scar on her neck that was infected when she visited, so I cared for her and then her pups for 5 weeks. I might keep one of the girls, the one I call Zena. I'm still caring for 3 girls and a boy, plus my Hunter of course.

Just did my taxes. Got a bigger refund due to buying a house so it will easily finance my entire trip including ticket and vehicle pass.

oooh VC, really nice sparkly!!! Nice stickers, Hope-a-lope.
I ordered a few of these yesterday to try for BBQ in a smokey joe, easy moopless clean-up being the main benefit I can see. Martiansky mentioned them, and I was curious.

One of these french press with cooking pot items arrived a few weeks ago, well clearanced, and perhaps it's because I have not found a way to pour it without spilling all over.

Got the last of the doodads needed to make the necklaces I hand out as swag. Pictures will be posted.
The next morning you will wake up pretty much your old self except that a very unusual 16 hours will have been added to your store of life experience.

Picked up a dozen neoprene-ish pair of gloves to gift to camp members. They were little more than a buck each at C...co.

Today I/we:
- Shot the majority of our Kickstarter video for our art car.
- Sat down with my engineer friend to talk about the structural integrity of my design, plus steel prices.
- Continued working on mutant vehicle budget while watching The Walking Dead
