RENO’S “NADAGRAS” ART SHOW TO OPEN AT THE MORRIS BURNER HOTEL'S FIRST GRAND OPENING!

(Reno, Nevada) Reno-based artists will bring their unique form of artistic expression to Reno, March 7 through 9, 2014 with the “NADAgras” art show at the Morris Burner Hotel, 400 East 4th St., just east of the downtown corridor. NADAgras artists will use up to 16 rooms and other interior spaces of the hotel as temporary galleries and exhibits during the three day show. The show is free and open to the public. The event schedule is Friday, March 7: 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, with an official opening ceremony at 7:00 pm, including music, poetry and performance. The event continues Saturday, March 8: 10 am to 11:00 pm, and Sunday, March 9: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Live music at 7:00 pm Friday and Saturday.

The NADAgras show originated in February of 2013, when local artists who conduct the annual June NadaDada Motel art show decided to expand their “get a room, make a show” concept into the winter, close to the general time of Mardi Gras.

This year’s Second Annual NADAgras is partnering with the new Morris Burner Hotel for the venue, and are tying the show into the “First Grand Opening of the Morris.” The Morris Burner Hotel is opening as a unique art and events venue, inspired by the creative energy of the annual Burning Man Project. NADAgras is an ideal event for the Morris, fitting its vision of becoming a gathering place for the arts in our community.
