Hiya, newbie in Munich!

Post by jaMMy » Tue Feb 18, 2014 12:54 pm

Hi everyone,

It will be my first time going. I'm originally from NYC, but will be making the trek from my home for the last couple of years...Munich, Germany! Any other newbie or veterans in the area?

Looking forward to learn as much as I can before it all turns to dust!

The german regional guys in 2007 (one was in Munchen) were total gold when I had my accident. I never met them in person, but they were very good to my mother.
I don't know if they are still there, or if they still go to the event, but I strongly suggest contacting the German regional contact.

How were the guys good to your Mom? Please elaborate.

So far, I have connected with the FB Germany Burners and will try to seek out others in town. Thanks for the info! 8)

When I was lying in a medically induced coma in TILIK (TILAK?) in Innsbruck, the Munchen guy picked her up at the Munchen Airport and drove her to her hotel in Innsbruck. That is above and beyond in my book. And almost 7 years later, I give the guy props.

(I'm still waiting for there to be an "incident" involving an airplane landing at or taking off from Innsbruck and hitting the side of the hanging valley...)

Indeed. And if you do contact them, you can give them my love.
