I'm calling an official's time out.
Well played, MDF, Well played. I think I'm within the time limit to add to your points score.
Savannah, and Fishy, also score points with the cracker comments.
Lonsomebri, I'm sorry, I went with the cheese pronunciation in my mind until I did meet you. You score points as well for your lost-dog-poster story. "has anybody seen this dog? Last seen tied to the man on Saturday evening."
Good job all around.

I was fully intending to to pop my head in to the Meet and Greet last year, but then got distracted.

Then I didn't post anything on this forum for months and MONTHS because I was so ashamed as I had said I would bring some fancy wine. Also because I forgot my login password and couldn't be bothered re-setting it.

Can I try again this year?

(Incidentally the wine was delicious)

if at first you don't fricassee, fry fry a hen.
Many have a long tradition of saying they will be there "this year"
we don't love them any less for this.

MDF, that's superb.

"Plan Your Burn and then Burn Your Plan"

We use something similar in horizontal drilling.....'Plan the Bore, and Bore the Plan"; however, ours keeps things on track, versus yours, which takes into account the fluid nature of Burningman PLUS our old buddy Major Murphy.

It's simply much better!

OK....I went to the link (ON THE FIRST POST OF THIS THREAD) and volunteered food, drink and INSANITY! Looks like this is going to be a barnburner already.

Remember, food, libations (adult beverages containing alcohol), volunteers for set-up, clean-up, and BOUNCERS are needed (I think yggy sitting on war rabbit with full armor and a battleaxe should suffice for the more recalcitrant set). WE have control of the content! We can make this as good or better than last year!

Plan NOW, reserve your schedule, and sign up!

Emily, if history is any indication, you'll have a hang nail and will miss it. I think this year we will tie you up and drag you there. 8)

Thanks, ^Rhino!, that phrase really sums it up! But FIGJAM said it first, I think, at least that's the way I remember it.

HEY! I made it last time...and even got back to camp without a flashlight, oh wait, you gave me one. All I remember is having a spiked red slushy, AntiM gave me one of her groovy pink tee shirts, and the rest was a blur of dust and bodies!

So... can anyone pop in? Cause we'd like to stop by with a previously unannounced treat of some sort. I'm going to leave it at that in case it doesn't work out the way I plan...

I have seen shenanigans at the MnG in past years..........be careful. If you get there and feel uncomfortable at all, find me, I know the password, and the secret handshake.

Please tell me it wasn't "Heffalump". (That word, spoken while intoxicated, tends to get me in serious trouble...)

Hi everyone I'm Rory! This year I will be embarking on my third burn with my husband Jason. The past two years we have camped with our lovely Christ Punching friends and this year we are seeking out COSMIC RECESS. We want to participate and contribute to that community if we can, so if anyone can point me in that direction it would be mucho appreciated.

IF NOT... well then we will obviously go with the flow and would love to join in another camp that needs dedicated helpers on the 2-o-clock side.
