Greetings, sputster. Nothing like a drink to cure the old writers' block. I'm having a Jamba Juice with a little "boost" of my own thrown in for good measure. Teehee.

I live about 150 yards from the American river in Sacramento.
kayaking is big here. I love the ocean also. Took my 14 foot canoe out in the ocean at salt point last month. Only about a mile out. flat day small swells.
Ya I know... you should of seen the abalone divers face when we first went out.
A week after we where there.. a girl surfing was bit by a great white.
I spent summers at my granddads in Santa barbra surfing and diving in the 60's and 70's.
I love the ocean and I don't have any fear of sharks. When its time to go its time to go. Sure don't want to be sitting on a couch when it happens.

thanks mozy. I likew this kinda stuff. Winter camping/mountaineering. I gotta do a winter camping thing at Lassen this Feb...maybe climb the peak if avalanche danger is low....gotta break down and get an avalanche beacon..REI's gotta sale on one for $300...I wish these things were cheaper....doesn't help much if no one's around though...

Celtic War Party
Warning: this drink will sneak up on you fast.
1 oz Jagermeister® herbal liqueur
1 oz Crown Royal® Canadian whisky
1/2 oz Goldschlager® cinnamon schnapps
1 pint Guinness® stout
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well, strain into a pint glass.
