I think he took the advice of those around him and the threat of losing alot of things, bannishment from the sport as well as his sponsors. He's young give him his time.

I do like the response that this issue has received. Alot of support for legalizing the stuff.

Those people against the stuff are starting to die off and not too soon.

Thanks Littleflower for the post! It's a good example of anti pot progaganda that Bullshit artists like the DEA are known for. I haven't researched who funded it but I wouldn't be surprise that it came from the Britist anti-pot groups.

"The study is based on findings from 369 men with testicular cancer who were questioned about their history of cannabis use. The results were compared with 979 men who did not have cancer. Cannabis was linked with testicular cancer independently of smoking, drinking and family history."

Those that smoke and those that do not have completely different life styles. "Linked independently" so how is that worked out. You can't run a true scientifically clinical tests with humans without controlling all factors in the test for the total time period. One test I will use that is similar was done several years ago that concluded that drug crazed concert goers had brain damage from using drugs. It was recently disproven because of more knowledge of tramatic brain damage. The cause was found to be:

Head Banging!

Not drugs at all.

Another study that found that smoking pot in adolescents led to severe pyschosis was actually caused by meth and other amphetamines. In fact in the same time period, the DEA made reports of a nation wide meth epidemic. This study came out some time after that report.

So we can say that drugs lead to Burning Man and that leads to Eplaya so to pregnancy! Someday that too will be disproven!

would they have been banging their heads if they weren't high? i mean ... it HURTS when i bang my head ..... and i hate it when my head hurts ....

lol ... my favorite thing about that study was comparing it to the alzheimer's study, and wondering whether guys worried more about their brains or their balls ...

I just heard on the news that eight people that were at that party where the picture of phelps was taken have been arrested. This is totally unbelievable to me--is this just some small town sherrif trying to make a name for himself, or is the the last death throws of the Bush administration?

I am certainly not above being 'lowbrow' but that wasn't the intent of that mention. There is another thread here referencing some raids that were carried out here in California on Medical Marijuana facilities which were attributed to the fact that previous Bush appointments had not yet been replaced by Obama appointments and were still carrying out the old Bush policies. I just was wondering if it had anything to do with that. Obama has said that federal dollars can be better spent than to try and interfere with state laws. (Or something of the sort; i.e. he's not into raids by the feds for pot offenses.)

Nevermind the pot. I'm wondering why ygmir is looking for pictures of naked men with large balls.

And I'm also wondering why Pop goes the Weasel keeps running through me brain?

That's strange, they work from my side. I originally posted the long links for the search, but they didn't show up on eplaya as links. So I tiny url'd 'em--guess that didn't work too well either. I just thought it interesting how much of eplaya was listed in google under our eplaya handles--and almost every picture we've posted here too!

The Sheriff where Phelps was seen smoknig from a bong has now "arrested" 8 other people involved with that famous bong load. It seems this Sheriff has been making a name for himself.

Here is a report.

The Richland County, South Carolina Sheriff's Department (that's them below) just obtained an armored personnel carrier, complete with a belt-fed, .50-cal turreted machine gun. Sheriff Leon Lott has charmingly named the vehicle "The Peacemaker," and insists that using a caliber of ammunition that even the U.S. military is reluctant to use against human targets (it's generally reserved for use against armored vehicles) will "save lives."

Can we call this overkill, yet? Is there any weapon people like Sheriff Lott would consider inappropriate for use against American citizens?

Like most of these military toys obtained by local police departments, the Peacemaker will inevitably be used on drug and gambling raids—that is, to enforce laws against consensual activities. Or, as we're now seeing in Minnesota, perhaps on raids against leftist political activists.

Can't be too careful, you know

WTF, why would any local sheriff need such a thing? We don't even have one in Los Angeles!!! I think this sheriff has some 'issues' regarding his manhood. I'm sure there will be other stories like this surfacing as this proceeds.

Where did you get that story from?

John, I can't find anything that says the LAPD uses them now, but I found references to in the past.

Here's a video of one used in Doraville, GA. It's inside the metro Atlanta
area -- population 10,000.

Here's one from Cobb County, also a metro Atlanta county.

This seems to be the new wave, cops getting military surplus big rigs.

The machine gun on the one in SC is distressing. I read somewhere that the LAPD used to equip 'em with a battering ram.

I just don't see the need for local police to have those armaments.

yes, well........
in view of the posse comitatus act, if they really want to quell civil disturbance, fast, before martial law is declared, they'll want just those tools..........
dang........

I would hope it's just a sheriff with "issues", and, not a overall plan to deal with "us"..........

nope, I'm not cynical or distrustful of the feds..............

head banging is totally not a result of drugs, rather of hair gel.

i jelled my hair totally upwards (its about 2 inces and getting faaar too shaggy), and spent close to 10 minutes amazed by the enhanced sense of movement. I must have spent a good minute simply swinging my head side to side because the sensation was soooo interesting.

I could feel a slight breeze with my hair better than with a wet finger...

I'm not sayin' that I'm on Lott's side! That machine gun has got to GO, IMNSHO.

I think it just pays for us all to check into this. I knew that Doraville had one, but I found a total of three in local PDs around Atlanta, one of which is in Gwinnett Co. and I saw a video of it but now I can't find it.
