From Southeast Texas.. First time burner!
Hello all! My name is Missie! My boyfriend, myself and a group of friends are headed to burning man this year. We are a mixed group. About half of us are new burners. I am super excited. I feel like this will be the most profound experience of my life!

I'm in San Antonio and going for the first time. I think there is another person or two from here as well as other parts of Texas.Missiebeth wrote:Hello all! My name is Missie! I'm keeping a neutral, open mind about going, but being the adventurous, make-it-up-as-I-go-along type, I'm sure it will be fun.

Jesus fuckhole, what the fuck was that?

Hi Missiebeth. Welcome! I'm glad you have experienced burners to travel with--makes things a lot less intimidating.
Try to avoid expectations about the profundity of the event. It's quite possible to have a dreadful time, or a lot of fun with no particular epiphanies, or a life-changing experience. Or something in between. Not knowing is part of the fun.

Didn't we adjust our immigration quotas to keep out that riffraff and have more scandinavians and salvadorans instead?AntiM wrote:Howdy,
