So, the four women of the apocolypse (alphabetically listed as follows) GuiniverElise, Lydia, Rian and Tish are feelin' poorly. Let's examine why:

GuinevereElise - has been sick, poor baby. The only one of the bunch who has an excuse. She will soon be feeling much better, I (we all) hope. Besides, she needed to get good and rested for the marathon that is SeaCompression, as she will be running from Sensei the entire time.

Lydia - First she drinks Sensei under the table, then she goes home to talk for six hours - she brought it on herself. Yeah, there's the heartbroken friend. Ok, she's excused.

Rian - While not technically hungover, the tiny terror stayed up way past her bedtime (and on a schoolnight!). You guys shoulda seen her last night. She's wearing this black vinyl bustier (sp?) thingy that laced up the back (yum!) along with (get this) a black Utilikilt. However cute you think she looked, multiply that by 10. Really. Ok, she's excused.

Tisha - Lord know what the Tishster did last night, but I'm betting it was fun. Her ears must be burnin' (along with BHA) as these two were the subject of much unrestrained gossip. I'd like to say it's all her damn fault if she's hungover, but she's just too darn cute; she's excused too.

ALRIGHT LADIES! Let's get it together now. SeaComp is like four days away!

P.S. Hey GuiniverElise. You made Sensei tingle this a.m. Stop it. Stop it right now.

Sensei: tingles?? Good. More where that came from...

thanks for your well-wishes... and you can BET I'll be ready for SeaCom...

Tish: the corporate bullshit is here, alive and kicking... I just almost got i a HUGE fight with a customer. Nothing like people who come into a retail store and tell me... the manager... what's going to happen.

"umm, I was a dumbshit, and I let my antenna of my phone fall off, and you guys are going to replace it for free, because I'm the customer and I'm always right".

Yeah. To quote the movie High Fidelity: "Sometimes the customer's an asshole!"

I had to literally bite my tongue so I wouldn't scream this at him and then hit him upside the head with the credit card machine.

So, before I go off to make dinner and such, I'd like to point out that there simply hasn't been enough drinking in here at all today. What, is it Lent or something?

In all of you sickies' honor I am going home and making myself one of Dr. BHA's patented snake-oils unless someone talks me out of it.

I've fought the battle of Jameson/Bushmill's for years, and I refuse to get into the politics of it (Jameson, Eire/Bushmill's, the North) but I prefer Bushmill's. Single Malt Scotch is something else entirely.

Jameson is fine with me.... because of the beatiful company I'm sharing it with... actually, tepid sea water would taste like ambrosia if I was sipping it with you....

And for you.... Never a quickie, always a longie...
