...but don't let me interrupt, I'll busy myself with the gentleman in red and the new guy in the skull hoodie.

Can I trouble you for a clove, Skull? I used to smoke these as a kid, loving the sweetness of the tip.

A Manhattan straight up would be lovely, Guin. Just what my doctor would have ordered if he were here.

indeed like smoking a camp fire log,
it crackles, it pops

useless knoweldge: Indonesians call clove cigarettes Kretek, because the sounds of it burning sounds like kre-tek, kre-tek.

skull pulls out two more cloves and set the pack down on the bar for anyone to endulge as they please.

Technopatra, by all means enjoy a smoke or two, I am new to this watering hole.

yes the sweetness is definitely a draw, has anyone ever tried the unfiltered ones, they are excellent as well if you don't mind having what I can only describe as having mulch on your lips.

Oh baby, you know it's not that I don't want to come here it's that I don't have time. I was born on a Saturday...

"Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child must work for a living,
But the child that's born on the Sabbath day
Is fair and wise and good and gay."

*tall red clad stranger runs into the bar... vaults over Sensei, lands on all fours behing the bar... comes up with a club soda... downs it, winks at the beautiful ladies (all of them)(either that, or his right eye is twitching a lot), vaults back over Sensei, and runs out the door*)

Thank you darlin'...

(lights it, feeling the delicious diziness that only comes from cloves)

I used to smoke unfiltered cigs, thought that packing a single smoke on my wrist and picking that stray leaf off of my tongue made me look as sexy as Lauren Bacall in "To Have and Have Not".

Then I caught myself in a mirror and went back to filters.

I think it must be the phase of the moon, which could relate to hormones. And maybe that is the one word. Hormones.
It's going to be alright.
