No hubbly-bubbly for me thanks. The tea should do just fine.

Then, let's us uncork the Pichon.

That leaves one glass for whoever so desires.

I have to run out to get something for dinner but I'll be back in here later to open that wine. Just allow it to stand over there until I return and don't let Sensei near it.

Where have I been? Sleeping. I slept until noon. Remind me not to drink copious amounts of alcohol when I'm tired as hell.. it just makes me pass out at the worst possible times!!!

[giggles shuffles in w a hot water bottle on her head, thermometer under tongue, wrapped in a quilt, and heads for her regular booth]

Mmm. Might I have a spot of that tea? Would feel nice on my poor sore throat, thank you so much.

you too, sweet girl. mind if I join you down here for a bit? regular decibel level is starting to sound kinda roarish in my hot head. Ugh. Offer still stands, btw, should you ever care to snap out of it and put on a booming voice.

On a different note, the beau left his snuggly polarfleece jacket, which I have donned, and I'm about to um, you know, just smelling it. mmmmm. The man has powerful phermones. That feels a little better.

well, nothing wrong w feeling small for a bit. Sometimes I like to feel small; makes it seem like a trifle less significant than it feels, whatever "it" happens to be at the moment. [cheesy announcer voice]Like sand thru the hour glass, these are the days of our lives. [/cheezy announcer voice]

[gushing] gosh but it is fun borrowing clothes! (and gosh, I love you too, little Rian. Big germy smooches all over you.) I feel so expressive right now! [/gushing]

ah, don't you love that about friends - the sharing, especially of contagion.

i'm a real sucker for smells and sounds for triggering memories. i think that's why it gets me so much.

That's exactly what I'd like to do right now. [burrow, snuggle] *contented sigh*

Excerpt/Quote From Book:
Twisted Lullaby
by Melyssa G. Sprott

“As sure as the light of the silvery moon,
your father, my dear, will be home soon.
So shut your mouth and go to sleep,
don’t dare cry, don’t make a peep.
Remember to tell him you love him or you’ll die”,
Mother sings her twisted lullaby.

“Wish for mercy, pray for death,
await the day he ceases breath.
He’ll wake you up at three in the morning
to beat you senseless without warning.
It doesn’t matter how still you lie”,
Mother sings her twisted lullaby.

“Act normal—though your pain is deep.
I’ll get him a beer, you feign sleep.
When you wake you’ll be all grown up,
you’ll forget this nightmare—enough is enough.”
Now I’m cold and unforgiving and I don’t know why
Mother sang me her twisted lullaby.

~tosses crude crappy poem about second-hand Santacon on floor sits in booth next to (not across from) gigglesnort~

I'd give my right mind for a Miller High Life™
"The Champagne of Beers".

Champagne is a weird word. It's like the "g" is in the wrong spot.
