I personally ran over a copy of the Bush plan for altering Clean Air Standards and relaxing Forestry Regulations.

For some reason, that stuck in our craw.

I've left it in my will that my body is to be flown up to 35,000 feet over the Sierra and dump... not ashes, the whole freakin' body! Then the ecology can have back what I've borrowed all these years... after all, I'll be done with it at that point.

My kids want to do a practice run this year, but I'm discouraging it...

just my luck that I'll be backpacking there when the freakin thing lands on the ground and hopefully not on me...... I'll do a fire ceremony for it and then in the Tibetan custom...chop it up for the birds.....

I like Fishy/Birdy's idea of Big Sur... for the condors... I can think of no greater end for this body than to be deposited on the cliffs of the Pacific Ocean in so much condor shit!

Let's just hope for accuracy's sake that that you document better than you 1) argue your points and 2) utilize the truth in trying to conveying your real agenda.

New to this argument, but isn't the cliched Italian accent bad for getting your point across?

Maybe something to do with Rob calling himself a wop...

psst, Davoid. I don't know what's up with rex's spelling, but I don't think it's a cute attempt at accent. I think he holds us in such contempt that he doesn't bother to get it right. Plus, he's so self-rightious, that he doesn't see the need.

My opinion only.

I dunno... but being part itallian (and having a famalial stake there still) I find it kinda offensive. Esp. from an azzat like Nonanon2. I remember from my old days in AA what we used to say about Alanons, and this guy fits that stereotype perfectly.

Rob the Wop is a pretty in your face sort of guy of Italian descent and I believe that there was another Rob when he joined.

In other words, it's probably not worth fussing about.

OOPS!!!!

(embarassed blushes...)

I think I may have misstated (Ms-stated?)...

My offense was *not* toward Ron the Wop, god gosh golly gee no!!!

My offense was towards the Azzat allanon's BS fakey Italian Accent. That guy just flat offends me for some reason... I think it's the sanctamoniousness which fills his postings...

(And I'm sorry, this is *so* unlike me... unless I get riled... )

I used to be known by a couple pretty colorful epithats as well (and I'm not even thinking of the ones not relating to my German-Italian-Swiss heritage >>gigles<<) and feel they were badges of honor, not scorn.

An' iffa you no like-a it, Im'a gonna calla me brudders Guido and Pasquale and Sonny an' haffa dem make-a youse some cement slippers, capisce?

So, if somehow I offended you, Ron, I apologize from the bottom of my heart. Now off to the Bar to drown myself in a barrel of Grappa!

I'm afraid that rex is more likely to offend RtW than you are.

General note: my posts are most likely going for humor before trying to, you know, make any serious points. Just trying to stick some unintentional funny business into Mr. Allanon's misspellings. That izz all...carry on.

I accidentally ran over a dead roadkilled possum on the Garden Highway on my way to Swabbie's Bar & Grill last weekend to see The Beer Dawgs play at, oh, what was the fuck was the name of that bar on the Sacramento River???? Anyway, the river is high with lots of flotsum (sp?) flowing down it and the dead possum made my tire go **whoooopfh** and it was gross.... Gave me the heebie-jeebies...

This probably doesn't count as helping the environment, does it? Heh heh...

I saw a deer's FACE by the side of the road. Not just the head, the face. Euww. IN PA I think. The rest of the deer was 100 yards down the road. How the fuck hard are you supposed to hit a deer to tear its face off?

Dear Monkeypoo,

Try not to see this so much as an unfortunate accident as much as a practice run to hone your skills running down fundamentalists who'd seek to legislate teaching 'intelligent design' in the classroom.
