Yeah, Chinooks have this strange habit of the fore and aft rotor blades making contact causing them to fly off on their own. Not that it really matters ... if you are in a situation where the blades are going to contact each other, you are going down anyway. The flying rotor blades just make it is a little more spectacular. No sense in being bored on your way down.

Hmmmm, Scotty. I do bullshit some like him, but I talk about him to visitors all the time. Something will come up I'm sure. I am probably still going to do that stuff. I always get this way when one goes down. But then, I hear the engine spooling up, the whine of the turbines, yeooooooow, gives me a stif.......................

Fuckin' A, Bubba!! There is nothing like hanging out the door, low level, about a hundred knots, watching shit go flashing past... I miss it terribly! Hell, I hate to admit it, but I even miss getting shot at... it sure let's ya' know you're alive...
