The sound was done well, the explanation is good, the sculptor is an idealist about the bigger picture.

There is so much hate & derision here in Reno over the space whale... :coffee:

Lucky, that is so interesting. Always good to get the Reno view of Burning Man. What do Reno residents not like, the price, the whale sounds - do they have that in Reno?, the look, or the Burning Man association?

BTW the BMCEO is speaking/answering questions in Gerlach Jan 31 - check Gerlach Outreach, maybe they do that in Reno?

The number one reason is the price. 2nd reason is the association with burning man. There are a lot of burners who live in Reno, in my neighborhood I’ve counted 18 within a mile or so of my house. But there is a lot of hate for burners here too.
