The farm, 45 miles south of the Twin Cities, is the largest farmstead in North America that makes cheese from the milk of its own sheep, and it is well-known in the nation's small sheep cheese industry.

"Nobody doesn't like a little lamb," Read said. "I think there is a sense of outrage that somebody could so carelessly destroy hundreds of little baby lambs."

In the emotional hours after the fire, Read estimated that 550 sheep were lost, while investigators, in their report Tuesday, put the number at 341. That number grew later Tuesday as badly injured sheep died.

I learned it from Pat McCormack on Dialing for Dollars.

My mother had some great ones though--the whale in San Francisco Bay and the one where you got to sing "Amster, Amster, Dam Dam Dam."

Apparently, quite a few of our moms were fond of Bing Crosby.

Along the lines of DougalD's sheep killing game, check out this "smack the penguin" game that Kelliy emailed me.

SMACK THE PENGUIN!

http://n.ethz.ch/student/mkos/pinguin.swf

1.Click on the link above.

2. Click once on the snowman.

3. Click on the snowman again to smack the penguin as he descends from the cliff.

4. What's your distance?

After about 10 trys, my best was 308.1 (yards? meters?).
...but it seemed like such a good idea at the time...

Just seen a bumper sticker on my way to work:

"I really really REALLY love sheep!"

In my neck of the woods thats a level of honesty I never expected to experience.

I heard on the radio the other day that the group of Psychyatrists who decide what is a mental illness and what is not have recently removed Zooaphilia (beastiality) from the list. Apparently there is no issue unless it cause YOU an underlying distress (like guilt). So; no regrets, no crime. Sheep on!

What's wrong with Zooophilia? Sting's role wasn't THAT big....otherwise, just a movie about kids on scooters. It's like condemning pedaphiles just because they like bicycles.
