Atlanta Dj looking for a camp to perform great originalmusic
Hello everyone, My name is Art Jackson, I am the manager of a local band named Cypher Cell. www.cyphercell.com The dj and lead guitar player are dead set on doing a set at this years festival, I am looking for some info on it to see how I can make this happen and the best route of course,I am new to the festival and am not sure about how things are run. But give us a look see, make sure you listen to Love and Darkness.
we would love to perform our artistic sound and vision to all of you. Thanks!

Hey Art,
There are essentially two ways to go about it:
1. Register as a large scale sound art theme camp with the event Bring all your gear, a generator, a tent, a stage and everything you need to set up a performance. http://forms.burningman.com/
2. Post a topic here (such as you have done) and request time to perform at large scale sound art theme camp. You can also browse the list of registered theme camps here:
And just and FYI, you probably already know this but....
This is a DIY event, all performers pay for their own tickets, and all "art" is provided by the participants, meaning you.

Please note that these are LAST YEAR'S camps, this year's theme camps should start to appear shortly. When the 2006 list is published you can email the people in charge of the respective camps you wish to join, and tell them who you are and what you wish to do.

Whatever... I would have put that question first......
Remember when the Cafe gave a British graffiti artist a ticket, flew him over here, and he turned the plywood wall on the back side into a hideous fucking eyesore?
There's always Hope.
