Hey Art,

There are essentially two ways to go about it:

1. Register as a large scale sound art theme camp with the event Bring all your gear, a generator, a tent, a stage and everything you need to set up a performance. http://forms.burningman.com/

2. Post a topic here (such as you have done) and request time to perform at large scale sound art theme camp. You can also browse the list of registered theme camps here:
Please note that these are LAST YEAR'S camps, this year's theme camps should start to appear shortly. When the 2006 list is published you can email the people in charge of the respective camps you wish to join, and tell them who you are and what you wish to do.

And just and FYI, you probably already know this but....

This is a DIY event, all performers pay for their own tickets, and all "art" is provided by the participants, meaning you.

Thanks Bob, it's nice to know that in my absence you'll still be here to offer your advice and guidance to newbies.

Thanks a bunch chai guy, that is a huge help, I know it's all on us, that is probably the biggest reason we want to do it, getting a little tired of the "cool" people in the club scene. by the way did Bob get some bad acid or something?

Whatever... I would have put that question first......

Remember when the Cafe gave a British graffiti artist a ticket, flew him over here, and he turned the plywood wall on the back side into a hideous fucking eyesore?

There's always Hope.

Oh, you mean Bansky?

I rather liked his work.

At least it was “art” and he didn't get paid $6,000 (and given some 30 or so comp tickets) to yell at people with a bull horn about the evils of "consumerism".
