It is more than the no topics exists theory. It is a feeling. It is that thing that you cannot ever quite place your finger on, that touch of the cosmos that gives you wonder and joy in spite of your sorrow. A growing, sometimes touched with sorrow but always filled with love and laughter. A living thing, to be cherished. The Bar is filled and shaped by all the peeps who ever came in and got a drink. I have stood in the ruins of indian cliff dwellers and felt their presence, felt the sorrows and joys that gave these villages life. Yet their decendents have no feeling except sorrow for they have forgotten and lost the past that gave them a future. Yes they had reasons for leaving. Certainly better ones than a "broken hinge." But when they recognized the problem they did nothing to fix it.pinemom wrote:yes I know...a few people just cant move for whatever their reasons are...they are strong enough to put up with the "no topics exist" theory!
That is not the case here. It is just a programming glitch. And if we were to all yell at the people who maintaqin the board and keep pointing our fingers at the problem it would soon get fixed. For it is the squeaky wheel that gets the grease. I have seen this problem appear on at least one other thread.
I do feel a difference. (And I like the history.)

Yep, the length of the thread has no bearing on whether the no posts problem appears or not. Sorry I can't be more helpful. That is not the case here. It is just a programming glitch. I can however, whip up tasty batches of appetizers! Any requests?

Oooh.... Now *this* feels like home. Shota Makers, and I'll get the hearth warmed...

(Looking around... grabs the vacuum, cleans the ashes and dust and broken bottles and semi-used condoms and cobwebs out of the firebox... )

Much better. Now for a little wood...

Something to get it going... just a bit...

(Grabs the Red can, innocently marked "Gasoline"... goes to splash a bit to get the logs to catch, when the rusted-out top falls off, drenching the logs...)
Hmmm... Oh well. Anyone got a match??

>Lifting a bottle in tribute... a lone tear rolling down her cheek... at the passing of a legend, murdered at the hands of an arsonist.<
May your sails always be filled, your journeys unimpeded by breakdown, injury, or duststorms, and your spirit haunt the deep playa for all times...
You will be missed by all that knew ye.
Re-edited a now-unheard of 6 times because this posting flat wouldn't post. Somehow this seems fitting...
