first, its been shown continually for over a year now that people cant keep the personal stuff out of it. thats not conjecture, go ahead and read over the past discussions in policy and other feedback areas. this happened despite pointing it out many times. but that repetition is normal when people have personal grudges to push and the most recent example is here - sed still trying to make an issue of moderation when i'm obviously not a moderator.
second, there still has not been an answer to the problem of second chances vs. multiple ones. dvd was given more than one, several in fact, and yet the same thing happened each time. you cant reasonably expect people to keep sticking it out when that happens.
third, its not a one person or multiple person agenda. no one, and i mean not-a-single-person wants to work with him and those problems were a big part of why this board is in its present state because people walked rather than have to deal with them. it seems being a volunteer instead of a paid employee limits the ammount of passion and dedication many people have. from first hand knowledge i can tell you i used to put up with a lot of shit and was told by most others they would never do that.
so i dont think you cant have someone with serious interpersonal issues on board like that here, no one wants to work with him and i have been told this explicitly. i went to bat for dvd a few times only to have him go off in his usual psychotic way, after that i had my credibility blown and many people didnt trust my judgement anymore over it. at this point he really needs to step up to personal responsibility and change his ways before someone new is going to take him seriously.
and good luck on whoever that is, not my decision. you can take it up with the powers that be, again, but i am sure you understand just where thats going to get you. you are honestly not going to find anyone as accomodating as i was over it.
so can you please put it aside now? this issue has been around for two years and i dont see it changing even if you choose someone else to wrongly target for blame.
