Where's the mouse, this time?
Where's the mouse, this time?
My cat has caught and released yet another mouse. Any guesses on where its battered carcase will turn up?
It ain't the hanging, it's the drop.

where a foul odor permeates for weeks soaking into the floors and walls around the decaying mice cemetary where your cat make mice sacrifices to his god, Lion. there you will find other mice in varying states of decay- all without heads.gyre wrote:In a shoe.
Or some totally inaccessible location.
and then people will think strange things of you because the odor seeps into the streets.

Some friends of mine have a cat who seems to think paper products are there to be shredded... and has taught their newest cat that belief. Papers, kleenex, paper towels, etc can't be left in the open, or they will later be found in shreds on the floor! Oddly, this doesn't keep my friends from leaving paper products in the open. (I have been trying to decide between moving in with them or moving in with my parents until I find work again. I like their cats, but really don't need to have my books and papers shredded..., well, not ALL of them!)

Well, it hasn't been attempted yet; however, assuming you have not laminated your car or something, they sould be able to turn it into mulch with no trouble!theCryptofishist wrote:will the cat reliably shread ss#s?

Well, if you have read H.P. Lovecraft's stories which are set in the Dreamlands, or played the roleplaying game "Call of Cthulhu", which is based upon his works, you would realize that cats have the ability to travel to the Dreamlands at night. While in the Dreamlands they are every bit as intelligent as humans, and have the ability to travel great distances, including to the Dreamlands moon. The Dreamlands being, in essence, a parallel universe based upon (but far from idenitcal to), Earth would almost certainly contain sparrows, or birds very nearly identical to sparrows. It would most likely be that a cat or cats could, by means of magical talents unknown to humans, bring a sparrow from the Dreamlands into your house. The reason they would do so is best answered by another feline, but I would guess that the cat or cats felt it was a suitable present for their human(s).
Either that, or your home has a hole in it somewhere....
