things are fine.

i still loathe the work i do here.
tara and i have been seeing one another every weekend, either her place or mine.
i haven't touched clay in 4 weeks or so. (see sentence above)
the weather is great.

i had a not-so-funny incident last night at the local tavern. another local drinker like myself, an acquaintance at best walks up to me, asks me to loan him 20 bucks, then 10, and i finally give him a 5 to buy him a beer... not a bottle of beer as he had been drinking previously, but a blue moon...

he then proceeds to start talking to me.... not even in intelligible sentences. i make him aware of that issue, and he continues to tell me about his weekend. please allow me to say, i came in the bar for peace and quiet, not cordial conversation.

sooooo, i leave... angry at myself for falling for his loan me money, so i can talk your ear off ploy.

i go have beers elsewhere, and decide on a nightcap at the first drinking establishment.... and lo and behold, there he is... drinking bottled beer again... he sees me, walks over to re-start his diatribe...

i simply excuse myself and leave the bar.

so, now i wonder what i should say to him next...

#1. dude, you crossed a line last night, no more beer or conversation for you.

#2. tell the bar owner about this little episode

#3. forget the whole thing, since it was only 5 bucks.

your thoughts?

Definitely get your 5 bucks back and then borrow 5 more from him. Get him to tell you any good chicken jokes he knows. Then flick a booger at him. Try to get it in his mouth. That way he'll step back AND close his mouth.

Sic my wife on him. She was a waitress long ago and a guy who owed me $20 came into the Golden Dragon with a friend for dinner. She just walked up to him and said "You have a lot of nerve - give me the $20. If you have enough left I'll bring your dinner".

Hahahahahahaa stop!! stop!!

I remember I was working a club one time.
When we had a 15-year-old show up drunk.

So we told him he couldn't come in like he was and that there was police next door at the pizza place. And that he should go or be arrested. The kid walked over to the cop car climbed on top of the roof next to the light on top and started pissing all over the car. The look on the face of the police when they came out and found him up on the car in midstream.

Priceless!!!

What made me think of it is that last week I was vacationing on a whitewater raft trip - my friends' son and his friend were along (ages about 22). One decided to belch in the other one's ear and, you guessed it, puked on his face instead.....

We all laughed until it hurt.....

**thinking of all the sexy women on playa~~~starts to sing to self**

Why do birds suddenly appear
Every time you are near?
Just like me, they long to be
Close to you.

Why do stars fall down from the sky
Every time you walk by?
Just like me, they long to be
Close to you.

On the day that you were born
and the angels got together
And decided to create a dream come true
So they sprinkled moon dust
in your hair of gold
And starlight in your eyes of blue.

That is why all the Guys in town
Follow you all around
Just like me, they long to be
Close to you.

Personally, I would've made the drunk buy a round. I would just keep asking him, "You got a credit card, right? No? A cash card/ You know, a debit card from your checking account? What you got in your pockets?"
and be drunk persistent until he got ~at least~ a couple rounds, somehow.

But I'm not shy with drunks- That came from YEARS of bartending.

and PUKED ON THE OTHER KIDS FACE?! That's hilarious. Ahhh.. if we could all video tape it all...

I'll take one of those Gonzo Imperial Porters, LCN ! Thanks !
