I think I personally have flattened three jackrabbits, nailed two squirrels, and I clipped a Spotted Owl once. The little bastard wouldn't stay down though...

I hit 2 jackrabbits on Jungo Road in 2002 and almost had one on 447 this year!

Dignity.
Respect for others.
Respect for the environment.
Respect for the truth, in all it's complicated, contradictory glory.
And I did a really good job of scraping up my throat too.

I aimed for some Burners that were urinating on the playa, but after I hit a playa serpent & some debris left behind by the event, they got away.

I'll try harder next time. :P

Don't try too hard, or you'll end up looking like this:

I think I took out 42 (possibly 43) Black-tailed jackrabbits [Lepus californicus] on Jungo road heading out to the Fly Springs bulldozer races one year (95'?).

2.5 pronghorn antelope[Bovidae Antilocapra americana] (BTW, I never count the calves as a whole number) on the way to doin' a little grenade fishing out at Soldier Meadows pond.

Popped a few white-tailed antelope squirrels up at the Black Rock with a few rounds of .475 elephant slugs (pretty cool) a few months back before our Leave No Trace camping trip. Believe me, with those rounds I left no fucking trace.

I think I hit about 23ish Neon driving fratboys.

It was too easy. You just have to tie a case of Budweiser and a Maxim magazine to your front bumper with a Eddie Bauer sweater.

Then just speed up to ramming speed and watch them dive in front of your car. Not only does this help the environment, but it helps clean out the gene pool too. Only problem is that there are always more pouring out of the lower educational institutes to replace them.

ok guys enough's enough. Personal attacks are not cool, regardless of how justified you all feel.

Let's be the bigger people, ok? Attack the argument, not the person.

There's a difference that apparently you're missing; multiple threads on the same subject is irritating and spam/graffiti-esque, whereas this thread is on a different subject, (namely poking fun at your apparent hypocrisy) and therefore is not breaking the "post to one thread regarding one topic" etiquette.

Don't like being made fun of? Don't barge into our party and first thing start yelling at us we're a bunch of assholes. That's pretty simple social etiquette. What reaction did you expect to your attack?

Do you even read these posts? Did you not understand that I was defending you?

Point of clarification:

These boards are developed and maintained to support the Burning Man community. Not the "stop burning man" community.

It is by the grace of this community that you are allowed to post here at all. We are under no obligation to continue doing so - we just think everyone deserves the chance to be heard. And replied to. And refuted when they prove to be too blinded by their own agenda to realize when someone's trying to help them.

Properly chastized. Sometimes I like taking pot shots at people with egos that refuse to listen to reason. I actually gave one of them tips on how to get hired at my work's location in his area.

Then I seen the Neon pictures of them doing brodies on the playa.

The self-righteousness evident of that pissed me off, so I turned to ridicule and destructive directed humor. My bad.

Awwwwww.

What ever happened to our old buddy Rex? Maybe eaten alive by the desert brine shrimp he was so avidly defending (we can only hope).

Tony--this is those stopbmorg losers--who also happen to drive around the desert in dodge neons.

For some reason, that stuck in our craw.

Like so much of their sh*t.
