Tree hugging originated as a form of nonviolent (and likely very dangerous) protest to protect certain areas in India.

shuck the droff, mask the din
there's never more than once to come
there's ever more than him
there's i and you and they between
who's voices carry never far as i can go
the wrath? the math? the doom/chosen show?
show the may, ever other day, when wage they war accounts to bank
they trouble themselves to double themselves,
while one is all i be

Everyone should plant a garden
Be like the Mormons this year and store a years worth of non-perisable food. Current temp here is 108.1, high was 109.9. Third day of 100+ temps. Late freeze here killed the fruid yeilds, high heat killing the nut harvest here. In Iowa, corn planting delayed due to saturated soil. Only 50% of seeds down so far. Expect food shortages, higher costs. I'm stocking up on cases of chili beans and fritos (my favorite snacks). Local stores here are limiting rice bag purchases. Asian restaurants are hurting and changing menus. I also recommend that everyone raise a victory garden like during WWII and the Depression. Fuel cost here is $4.85 for a gallon of diesal, gas is $3.85 a gallon. Late planting varieties of crops should do OK but timing is everything this year. Get it in the ground...
