Hehehe.....That's funny ChiefDanFox, The daytime people that checked my MV last year thought that it was an el Camino or Ranchero originally, it is a 79' toyota pickup, with a canopy.
But this goes to say something about the current guidelines for what an MV is. Indestinguishable as what it originally was. Period.
collection vehicles are a thing of the past, whether it be oven mitts, ties, or g-strings.
Hell, if I could get away with it, I would take all of my skull collection and just place it all over my truck and call it art, it would be easier, and I am proud of them, but I know that is not the current expectations of what the LLC is looking for.
Maybe that is not a bad Idea, marscrumbs, except instead of having minions pull it around, attach a bumper hitch on and let someone else pull it around as thier trailor next year ?
Or better yet, change it up a little bit, new exterior per se, and when you apply for approval next year, do it nice and early, that way if you get a rejection letter, you might still have time to re-apply before you start putting it all together ?
Don't get my above statements all buched up in your barbies, Doc Pyro, I personally think that if you are bringing big pyro, that you should automatically at least get a night sticker, and I already know of several other MVs out there that somehow got approval for thiers this year that definately are distinguishable as what they originally are, but in the spirit of fairness and all else being equal, I hope that the people at the DMV give them strong verbal warnings about bringing it like that next year.
