So this year....were SUPER idiots...rrr..a Over achievers, yeah, thats it.

Yesturday, and a wee lil bit of the day before, I felt myself starting to waver...to feel like Im being sucked into the scary rabbitt hole(and not that fun one mind you).

I knew I had to attend a members meeting w/ CB...and I also felt if I was going to be ostrisized for not getting over to help more.

I arrived and someone said "oh look she does exist! the bussiest woman in the world".
That was all it took, I broke down and just started to cry.
Tooo Much! this year! To many things to build in just one spring.

Yes, they will be done.
Yes, Its going to f'ucking kill me.
Yes, Im still AMPM, and this too shall pass.

...and out of the clear blue(prior to going to meeting) I get a first ever phone call from MARSHAL, Apok's resident hippy! ( i just love that dude!)
He says ..."Pinemom, please come over tonight, Will is bringing his healing and power crystal bowls"

I told him I wouldnt make any promises but I would see if I could either last night or tonight.

well at 10pm last night rolling on 395, on the way home from meeting...I suddenly took the offramp to Golden valley. I found this addy that Marshal had given to me.

BurnerBaby and I drove up to this house, and wallah...in front yard...I meet Will. Will reaches for my hand. I say Hi Will...Im not ready. He says none of us are.
I know at this point that suddenly "Im not ready" takes on a thousand characaters! It means so much in so many different ways.To so many people.

He welcomes us into the house, then out to the back yard, where of course...we find Marshal, and a couple of other familar faces in and around.
(btw, BurnerBaby has quite the fan club,and in the oddest places)

Marshal takes us immediately to the accoustic Geodome, and there sitting on little tables are these Gorgeous Huge Crystal Bowls...and begins to make them sing.....by the time we get around to trying to make our departure, the music of those bowls has me soooo relaxed I can barely make the drive home. Burnerbaby took over a couple blocks from home.

howdy friends and strangers...

Zule - that blogpost brought tears to my eyes. I know some of the guys out there right now, and more left here this morning. Joe, that Niko talks about, is an old friend. I've not been really enthused about the burn this year, and not sure why. It's not the burn it used to be... we've lost members of our clan that made the week special... i've got too many projects going on and feel indebted to others and am not doing what makes me happy... But - reading that blog just reminded me of what happens out there... and why... and who.

damn. here's to that goddamn dusty magic.

maybe if i start packing i'll feel better...

hi Sput! hi fishy! hi pm! hi black cat! hi mozy! i don't think i know you, ***burn***, but happy to make yer acquaintance! glad to hear yer having an easy time of it, fish. if anyone deserves that, it's you! so now you just have to cheerlead for the rest of us, kay?
pm - you seem to always pull of amazing things, so i have no fear that you will make it all happen. take it easy on yerself; deal with one li'l thing at a time; and if it aint' broke, have a drink.

i went shopping yesterday and found some pretty little silky things at the vintage second hand store, so now i feel better about the playa.

and my boys are actually working on our art project today. all of them! all day!

i'll be camped in a big dome across from P-Cubed Oasis at 8:30 & C, and driving around a princess pumpkin carriage called the Pimpkin. Say hi if yer nearby!

The playa Frog is dissasembled and ready for packing.
The hauler has to have its brakes adjusted b4 NVDMV will pass it....then we can start loading.

and yes, Im at the point of...if it gets all the way perfectly finished, great ,if not, Great. we're going to the playa were going to the playa!

Last night at 945pm...my Huge industrial sewing machine went out of whack, so the last of the dome additions will be played by the old Monkey wards...who mind you did sew the originals~

always good to bring back and old face, it also reminds you of "slower times"!~ ACK!

howdy!!! gosh it's good to 'see' all of you....

Clark! i am soooo happy to hear that yer serving coffee a mere block away from us!!! you will definitely see us! not sure about the meet-n-greet.... i am still working out the schedule with my playa-nanny, so not sure if i have kids with me that night or not... i'll at least plan to swing the pimpkin by for a bit. be sure to come to P-Cubed Oasis for a drinky-poo! i believe i'll be tending bar Thursday and/or Saturday late-nights.

Yep, lots of pre-burn stress this year to get everything ready. While scrubbing out an ice chest yesterday, I had the thought "I'm done". The ice chest was not done, but I sure was.

Well, I'm close enough to leaving now that I can hear the playa calling. As usual at about this point, the neighbors are more curious than annoyed - they don't get annoyed until the trailer is being packed.

I can't wait to raise a glass with you all....
