Paintballers for Peace
Hello Burning Man community!
A new reality television show is looking for male cast members who would like to roam about the United States playing paintball.
We are looking for adventurous 21-40 year old guys who would like to form a "Band of Brothers" type of group. The group will be modern day gunslingers who roam about playing scenario paintball games, enjoying the wide open country and spreading the idea that men can cultivate their inner warrior without having to kill and dominate others. The show will document the journey of the group and the relationships formed while living on the road.
If there is anyone on this forum, or if you know of anyone, who may like to participate in this show please email me at [email protected].
Thanks!

Yet using facsimiles of weapons that do kill and dominate. Um, am I missing something here? Is the disconnect just mine or.......enjoying the wide open country and spreading the idea that men can cultivate their inner warrior without having to kill and dominate others.
And is this gonna end up being just another diarrheaic 'reality' TV show?

Oh, pshaw. Did you guys never play cowboys & indians or "army" when you were little? It's part of guys growing up. LOL
Paintball, unfortunately, is more of a "grownup" sport because it costs relatively a hell of a lot of money.
My son played in his mid to later teenage years. Then it came time for a car, so it was a choice.
He played competitively and loved it, played in a few regional tournaments. I think he was even more settled down, so to speak, when he was playing. I gather it helped when the testosterone was rising. LOL
Cleaning up paintball hits is really nothing. The shells are colored and wash right off. The inside is basically like a white lotion. Just hose the mess off.
A good question is who's going to pay, and I'll e-mail and ask. My son surely won't quit a full-time job to donate his time to be on a TV show. Even the best paintballers who are sponsored by companies basically get their guns and paintballs and that's it. It's not like this is a major sport that gets major sponsorship from Nike, et. al.

You must have been left on the surface for a while. Over the years, I guess I never had experience with paint that was left on for awhile.
I have no idea what they talked about when they were playing. I suspect they just "used" their inner warrior. LOL
Try some elbow grease if the colored shells are still there.

Can't these boys express their inner warrior in a peaceful way by pulling people out of burning buildings?
Oh well, so much of the world is nonsense, and always has been.

why don't the corporate coward bastards do a reality show on a Sea Shepherd boat? Sure as hell is enough drama and life threatening stuff there and besides...they're saving the environment.....

Because it's all about ratings. I mean, sure, the S.S. Green Peace has had its dramatic moments, but you're going to have to sex it up a little if you want those big Nielson numbers.cowboyangel wrote:why don't the corporate coward bastards do a reality show on a Sea Shepherd boat? Make the crew go topless and suddenly you're talkin' about a Top Ten show and you better have a truck to haul the money away.
