Hooked on a sitcom: "Big Bang Theory"

Post by Mister Jellyfish Mister » Mon Feb 02, 2009 8:54 pm

My whole family loves it. I don't tell them it reminds me of the dissonance of fitting into the default world as a burner sometimes.

The whole show is about cognitive dissonance as experienced by everyone for different reasons.
That's why the show resonates so strongly.

Is there really a sit-com that doesn't rot your mind?

American Idol rules !!!!
We have an obligation to make space for everyone, we have no obligation to make that space pleasant.

Hey!
Give me a break!
The show is only a theory.

Actually I liked a few shows on TV - after people yammered at me to watch them.
Seinfeld, X-files, etc. I like "One Way Out".

How geeky is it to use your Guitar Hero stickers on your laptop and external hard drive?

My "big" laptop sticker is the logo from Stargate Atlantis: Pegasus Galaxy.

Have you guys seen Better Off Ted?
The corporate ads are hysterical.
Is the company supposed to be SAIC or GE?

Scene-
I need your division to produce a mouse that can withstand 200 degrees, in three weeks.
We can do that.

Wait!
Live mouse or computer mouse?
Computer mouse.
Okay. Even easier.

And there was something about weaponizing pumpkins at one point.
