I-80 Closures in California

has information on construction on I-80 on the California side. There are times when all eastbound or westbound lanes will be closed. Click on the map on the front page or click on 'Travel Info' for more information. You may sign up for email updates so that you can check details from your cell phone when you have cell access (Reno on your way back, for example).

Not in summer so much, unless you get a weird wreck in one of the construction areas.Bluemandrew wrote:Will this effect anyone coming from the right coast? Any closures in NV I should worry about?
I-80 has been closed this past week for blowing snow. If that happens in summer, we have bigger problems.

Absolutely! Word has it that the "Ranch" in Battle Mountain will be closed the week before Burning Man and not reopen until Sept 11th. This is tragic.Bluemandrew wrote:Will this effect anyone coming from the right coast? Any closures in NV I should worry about?
