I am trying to keep costs down, as many of my other posts have shown. I am building a geodesic dome and am planning on using little rebar canes hammered into the ground. Thing is, rebar is steel, and steel is expensive. Albeit, I do not need much. However, if someone needs to get rid of, or knows someone who does, some rebar I would be happy to do it. As well, I would be willing to cane up whatever was extra (i'm not making 500 canes, mind you) for a other people if they want it. Ive seen rebar laying around such as at the construction zones at my school, but I do not want to go stealing it. Finding the right guy to talk to is hard on a campus with lots of orange hats and no white hats.
Anywho, just putting that out there. I'm over in San Ramon if anyone is close to that. I would pick it up. Thanks!
