I read far and wide. I'm a lot more worried about food availability than I am price.
Here's some info i collected for a post somewhere else;

How many economics departments in academia said anything about an imminent housing bubble? If the economists didn't see any sign of something that was painfully obvious to Schiff, Jantzen, et al,,,, how can academia be so certain of something that is as tenuous as global warming.
I'll buy "climate change",,, sure. NASA and other researchers have all linked it to solar activity. There is a lot of research to show climate change. I was told by one of the foremost researchers that the weather would get very violent after 2010. The trend is colder, not warmer.
It was reported a while ago about 80 million acres of farmland being plowed under in Australia so that trees could be planted,,, to absorb CO2.
Strange,,, I would have thought that fast growing crops would absorb even more CO2.
"109 million Ha (19% of Australia's farm land) of farm land locked up to meet its UNFCCC Kyoto Protocol commitments"
http://www.sosnews.org/
That's 269 million acres. The increasingly violent weather is ruining crops and destroying farmland daily. OZ is in a drought that is supposed to appear once in a thousand years. Now, they have to lock up farmland???
OK, so we produce bio-fuel that locks up farmland. We lock up farmland to store CO2. We pave over 1 million acres a year for urbanization.
One could almost deduce that global warming was being used as an excuse to shut down a lot of agriculture.
As the weather worsens, China will be especially hard hit. They have a long history of weather damage;

What happens if we go to all this trouble to mitigate global warming and,,, global cooling is what develops?
There would be a lot of acreage that would be too cold for leaf crops. They would be limited to grass crops.. This happened to Iceland after the 16th century.
I don't trust anyone who screams SO loudly that man is causing the earth to heat up.
For many decades, the world had 110 days of food in reserve.
It's now down to about 27 days. The US has almost nothing in reserve. Call me paranoid

I don't post things because I believe that they are the absolute truth. I post them because I believe that they should be considered.
