Looking for good quotes about television...
I've narrowed it down to these, but don't completely love any of them.
It's to go on the wall, around my television.
I'm leaning towards the third one, but I'm not comfortable with the word "lover" on the walls of the house my parents frequent...

I would paint "idiot box" with a big arrow pointing to the television.

"I wish there was a knob on the TV so you could turn up the intelligence. They got one marked "brightness" but it don't work, does it?" ~Leo Anthony Gallagher

Meh. The best thing about Dali is his titles. And you never know if your Dali print is a fake anyway.

There's already three art pieces (by friends, I don't really go for prints, and one picture of fire staff spinning I took) - plus a lovely Liquid Sky poster - surrounding it. The quote is just the piece dey resistanz.misfit wrote:put up a nice DALI print, and go outside............

Sort of unrelated, but a good quote on television nonetheless:
“It is with a feeling of humbleness that I come to this moment of announcing the birth in this country of a new art so important in its implications that it is bound to affect all society. It is an art which shines like a torch of hope in a troubled world. It is a creative force which we must learn to utilize for the benefit of all mankind.â€

About Philo T. Farnsworth, inventor of the Farnsworth, which all of you are staring at right now.
Interviewer: The image dissector was used to send shots back from the moon to earth.
Elma Farnsworth: Right.
Interviewer: What did Phil think of that?
Elma Farnsworth: We were watching it, and, when Neil Armstrong landed on the moon, Phil turned to me and said, "Pem, this has made it all worthwhile." Before then, he wasn't too sure.
