Through a previous post, I've learned Gorilla tape has a higher melting point, for its adhesive. Online, I learned it has much more adhesive. I've only seen it in black, so that could totally nullify the melting point advantage. Gonna try it out in July. Ill get back..
anything worth doing is worth overdoing..

Watch out with duct tape and the playa heat.
Years back I used a small length to hold my dreads into a bundle because the weather was so hot.
I kept it on for a few days and when I removed it the glue had stuck to my hair. I spent three days after the event washing it with vinegar, Dawn dish soap and essence of sandlewood to get the first layer of gunk off.
It was AWEFULL!!!!!!
My chiropractor had to get the rest off and she wouldn't tell me what chemicals were in it because she was sure that if I knew it would wreck my neck chakra for TWO full lunar cycles.
So I suggest watching out. Don't use that stuff on your person. Keep it around only to make camp repairs and maybe to barter with.
