Do you know of anyone that has walked to Burning Man?
From a really long way away? Google maps says I can walk from Carbondale, Illinois, to Black Rock City, in 27 days.

That would be my ancestors. In a weird coincidence, today is Utah state holiday, Pioneer Day and the re-enactors are out and about in the parades.Playa Foot wrote:Thousands of Mormons made the journey to Utah wjth all their stuff on handcarts. Some stretches are brutal. No services, no water, to this day. You can still die on this trail.
There are still portions of the western trails in existence in usable condition. But I'd do more in depth research than google maps.
