Don't worry. I did. It's just a bit hard to get arround here without a car. Gave her my bike and sent her on her way. She ended up having a nice day. She's doing the same thing today. Keep your fingers crossed. Less than 17 hours until take off.theCryptofishist wrote:You silly girl! you should have left him (her) instructions on where the cool cafes are and a couple other things like that. People watching in LA area when you're from conneticut? That's a nice, silly relaxing afternoon.VeganChoirGirl wrote: My poor ride share from CT is sitting in my living room with nothing to do.

You know the adage, the first 90% of a project takes 90% of the time and the last 10% takes the other half? Yeah. Things are getting crossed off the list. Even easy things - "these cheap-ass string lights have lousy battery packs. Solder on new ones." can turn into "the cheap-ass string lights are landfill and it's not just the battery packs".
Sigh. Well, all the important stuff is done. Almost - I still need to finish (start) the baconater (which is just flat pans fitted with drains so I don't have to burn myself (again) dumping bacon grease). But that'll be easy, right?
And besides, I've got a grill and 15 lbs of high quality bacon - baconater or not there's gonna be some happy campers in the mornings.
