whoever was responsible for putting the caps lock next to the letter "A" should be drawn and quartered. And then stomped on. and then have all his hair plucked out. And then have all his nether regions liberally coated with icy hot and then...

the problem is that keyboard manufacturers produce shitty keyboards without a gap around the A and Capslock

nobody gives a shit anymore, its easier to produce $9 keyboards that last 1 year than make quality ones that last 30.

16 years ago I worked for a company that repaired keyboards. I always thought that was stupid.

Ah, the wonderful IBM Model M with buckling spring technology. Even back in the 80s they were $100 a piece, and sell for about that now too. I've got a few that were selling at some old surplus place for $5 each.

On the upside you can still find new keyboards with mechanical key switches, and cost over $100. Granted some of them might have back-lighting, extra keys, touch screens, or even a big old nob.

HI SAV!
Well, that describes my Keyboard perfectly.
The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.
