gurgle gurgle....ah ya Kristy, well she's definitely a social worker, and she has acquired a wealth of wisdom from her courage and openess about her work. I will meet her at some point and who knows what kind of totally cool media project will come (pun too) as a result. Hey did any of you dudes and dudettes get a chance to check out my Burning Man interviews?

A very young and innocent Sensei was in central Montana the last time that fucker went off. We were 600 miles away and everything had about 1/4 inch of ash on it (quite similar to playa dust; though worse in my opinion). On my way home, I was one of the first people to be allowed to drive across the state; I hit Spokane about midnight, when they were 'testing' the idea of opening up I-90. Only a few of us got through before they closed it (I-90) again. It was like driving on the moon. When you stir that stuff up, it just hangs in the air forever in a (near) solid mass. If there's no wind at all it's amazing how long it will stay suspended.
Nobody cares about that little burned out mole-hill anyways. But when Rainier blows... A good portion of Western Washington will be saying bye-bye.

Look! It's my new house!

That's the shop in front, and the house behind it. Look at the size of that sucker! 1200 sq ft with a 13' door! There are 2 vacant lots to the left of the shop which I plan on turning into a wild flower field.

Yes, that porch will be one of the first things to go. No, it's not on stilts, it's windows (the darker part) with wood on the side, soon to be covered with proper siding. How about all of that snow!

Yeah, the whole thing has be kinda depressed. I wish one of the older ones would say something like "Hey, gang, I don't like the way things are going and I think we should get together and perk this party back up" or something but damn ... I mean, I should have never said anything in that thread. If someone says they are gone ... then I will take them at their word and just not bother to say anything. I mean at that point ... there really isn't anything anyone can say.
Just depresses me. I would be willing to pitch in. Newbie education is the key, I think.
