Can I swim in that giant keg of beer I see in that dark corner over there instead? It's been a fun but hard week.....

I'm not picky, especially after last night, something in a can or bottle, import would be nice but not necessary. Got a hankering for a slice of pizza with pineapple and black olives, any around? I gotta go finish closing down the site. Back in 30-45 minutes or so.

Ciao bella.

So, CBA, you want to paddle over in that vat o' beer and tell us all about your talk with Kristy?

I have a little bit of this Cheval-Blanc left from my picnic with GE that you might enjoy.

I will meet her at some point and who knows what kind of totally cool media project will come (pun too) as a result. Hey did any of you dudes and dudettes get a chance to check out my Burning Man interviews?
Gee i now feel just like my dog, cause like her I can both swim in it and slurp it up too! Isn't life great! pufff, inhale ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

A very young and innocent Sensei was in central Montana the last time that fucker went off. We were 600 miles away and everything had about 1/4 inch of ash on it (quite similar to playa dust; though worse in my opinion). On my way home, I was one of the first people to be allowed to drive across the state; I hit Spokane about midnight, when they were 'testing' the idea of opening up I-90. Only a few of us got through before they closed it (I-90) again. It was like driving on the moon. When you stir that stuff up, it just hangs in the air forever in a (near) solid mass. If there's no wind at all it's amazing how long it will stay suspended.

Nobody cares about that little burned out mole-hill anyways. But when Rainier blows... A good portion of Western Washington will be saying bye-bye.

Look! It's my new house!

Image

That's the shop in front, and the house behind it. Look at the size of that sucker! 1200 sq ft with a 13' door! There are 2 vacant lots to the left of the shop which I plan on turning into a wild flower field.

Yes, that porch will be one of the first things to go. No, it's not on stilts, it's windows (the darker part) with wood on the side, soon to be covered with proper siding. How about all of that snow!

Top pic, no snow... Bottom pic, lotta snow... That was some snowstorm. And where the heck are you? Canada?

Love that shop with the big ass door. We're going to expect big things art-wise from you...

I got to say having old burners like that guy not coming back is a drag. I feel guilty I didn't do much to really participate this year beyond the stuff for my impromptu camp and new friends and that was limited.

You know it was my first year and it seemed It would be good to get the lay of the land so to speak. I should have been more like one of my campmates she worked the café the post office and the censes... I did try offering a hand a few times but I wasn't taken up on my offers.

Yeah, the whole thing has be kinda depressed. I wish one of the older ones would say something like "Hey, gang, I don't like the way things are going and I think we should get together and perk this party back up" or something but damn ... I mean, I should have never said anything in that thread. If someone says they are gone ... then I will take them at their word and just not bother to say anything. I mean at that point ... there really isn't anything anyone can say.

Just depresses me. I would be willing to pitch in. Newbie education is the key, I think.

It might be, I know I had intended on being a lot more out going and extraverted than I am in my normal life but I couldn't make it happen. Had I been pulled into making more contact or had some one had a use to put me to I would have benefited a lot.

Making those first contacts is key..
