We can't just take a triangle of the Yukon Territory and a tiny corner of Alaska. We must have ALL OF THEM, GADDAMIT! While we're at it, Hawaii might as well join the party.

Alaska might be willing to gift Anchorage to you but you would have to ask nicely (and perhaps throw in some boot(y) to get any more of the state.

I dunno..........most of the folks in AK that I know, would rather not be associated with the "lower 48" anyway.

not to mention the frozen methane in the trench just off the coast, that could be disturbed by said quake or eruption. I'm told, it could suffocate everything withing miles of the coast........
